Thanks for your comment, Gambatte Karate.

I fully extend my arms when I punch. Maybe because my punch is a little bit "elastic", it looks as if I do not fully extend my arms.  ;)

Yep..Thats it.  ;) I thought it was something "different".

Sanzinsoo,
I am curious about something. When you perform kata, it appears as though you do not fully extend your arms on punches. I know that styles vary form style to style. I also know a few Goju Ryu practitioners here in the states. They all seem to fully extend. Is this something that is not typical there? I recognize the high Goju stances, but the not fully extending the arms is odd to me. Is it because you are doing the kata for demonstration purposes? (much like mine on youtube)  ??? Just curious. I like watching your videos, so please don't take this the wrong way.  ;)

I think that besides a fighting art, Goju-Ryu has another function as an exercise to make your body and mind healthy and peaceful. Gekisai Ni is simple and beautiful Kata which represents “Goju-Ryu” style. Here's another video clip of mine. Enjoy it.
