After corresponding with an old fellow dojo brother whom I haven't spoken to in years ....He did confirm that Sensei Frank Ryan had passed away last month - April 12, 2010.  I was very sadened when I heard ..and although I haven't had any contact with Sensei for over 35 years ....the time I spent studying with him left a tremendous impression that has stayed with me my entire life.  He will be greatly missed by those who share my thoughts and memories of him from back in the day ....back in the Bronx.

Although I live in Australia I believe that Frank Ryan may have passed away last month (April). I read it very briefly on another MA site.

As a former student, I do know where Frank Ryan lived in Yonkers. I had last seen him there a few years ago. I happen to work in Yonkers and can look into whether or not Frank still lives there.

Does anyone have any contact to Kyoshi Frank Ryan?  He was in the Bronx on Gun Hill Road I believe and then in Yonkers, NY.  I remember reading a post that was on Karate Korner back in 2002 with some information, but that post is long gone.  Along with the person's info who had posted.  I'm seeking help if you can it would be much appreciated.
