MMA would be great, I would prefer MMA over Pancration or BJJ.  Just don't see it happening if Brazil gets the 2016 Olympics....maybe as a compromise.  So let’s hope that Chicago gets the bid.  Heck, this could all be a void conversation if they (IOC) include MMA in London (2012).

It would be good, but isnt wrestling already an olympic sport? A lot of people may not see the difference or the use, so I doubt the olympic committee would agree.
I know everyone will disagree, but I think MMA itself should be an olympic sport. That way the best of different organisations could face off against one another without  lawsuits and such. Just imagine 2008, Randy Couture vs Fedor Emelianenko. Everybody wins, without all the trouble this match has caused the MMA world already.

I think the inclusion of any new martial arts would be cool, although I must admit I am not a very big fan of BJJ.  I've been watching the olympics and thinking to myself that kendo would be a cool art to showcase in the olympics.  Just my opinion..

Anyone have any thoughts about in possible inclusion of BJJ in the 2016 Olympic, that is if the Olympic committee choose Brazil for 2016?
