I went to the tournament and we all from my school had a good time. We won seven medals total. I was lucky to win two gold medals (traditional intermediate weapons and forms). The tournament was very well organized and ran smoothly. Unfortunately, there was not many people in attendance (was it the bad weather?). The location was gorgeous, that Convention Center overlooks a beautiful lake near the ocean. I was surprise I came first on weapons since the guy who came second was really amazing. I was impressed with some of the young competitors. I wish I had that confidence when I was their age. As usual, it was so nice to be exposed to so many different styles and meet different people from other states. It is good to know there is so much more going on outside Philadelphia...

Is anybody in these boards competing this weekend at the WOMAA (World Organization of Martial Arts Athletes) tournament this weekend in Ocean City, Maryland? Or has anyone competed in one of those before I want to share their experience? I might compete this Saturday (underbelt division, of course) and with over 25 countries competing, I am a little nervous... And if anyone is going, make sure to say hello.
