HOME AGAIN! Finally! OMG! This trip home was TERRIBLE! But still better than a day at work! LOL I'll be posting up pics later from our trip. I am not a large picture person, but I took a few this trip when normally I wouldn't have taken any. So....Check back in tomorrow and you will see the snow and other issues we had.

Hi Folks:

I heard from Gambatte a couple of hours ago.  The Tire seems to be holding up and he said via txt that at that time he was about 6 hours from home.  So if he is continuing apace he should be about four hours from home now.

ok, we are just south of macon georgia. we somehow got a flat tire. it has a hole in it about 1/2 inch in diameter. eek! it took us about 4 hrs to get it plugged well enough to keep from leaking. when we left, the plan was to be home at 4:45pm today. no such luck though. we were plagued by snow through oklahoma, and kansas. that held us back to 35 mph max. now the tire issue. uggh!

I texted Gambatte last evening and He said he got the car running and had headed out.  He just now texted me again and said he just went through Birmingham Alabama. So he seems to be making good time.

ack! coming to you via my cell phone. apparently all the hiways are closed in oklahoma, so we cant go home today as planned. we are hoping to be able to leave tomorrow. we are driving straight through, to florida. about  a 22-24 hr trip. and since my wife doesn't drive....yep....gonna be tired. merry christmas though eveyone. enjoy yourselves.

Hey even the little dusting we got here in Texas counts as far as I'm concearned  ;D 
It is 21 degrees Fahrenheit on my Back porch this morning.  That is -6.1 C for you folks on the other side of the puddle.

Even though NJ got 24" of snow last Saturday, its still here. That counts as a white Christmas in my book.  ;D
