I believe there are other ranks after black belt... They were posted on an old topic. They were created after Waxie hit black belt level. I just don't remember what they were.

I'm real sure that you're right as I remember the conversation there. But I couldn't find the post with the ranks beyond shodan. I think they are at 3000 and 4000 etc. but I figured the others would still be useful until they reach the stratosphere.

White Belt     0-49 posts
Yellow Belt    50-99 posts
Orange Belt   100-249 posts
Green Belt     250-499 posts
Blue Belt       500-749 posts
Purple Belt    750-999 posts
Red Belt       1000-1499 posts
Brown Belt    1500-1999 posts
Black Belt     2000 posts

I'm guessing yellow belt comes at 50 posts.  I don't know about the other colors.
