Thanks for the review I was unsure about seeing this one. Now I might buy or rent it.

Well I went and saw The Book of Eli this afternoon:

Overall it is a gritty dark movie but with a good use of sepia tones and washed out colors in a post apocalyptic scenario.  It is as vioent as you would expect given the story line and amazingly it does not contain the obligatory nudity and graphic sex. Even so the movie invokes thought but is not one that I'd take a young teen to.

The fignt scenes were both well choreographed and believable and everything you'd expect with Dan Inosanto involved.

The story line was both good and believable and the twist at the end is absolutely great and lends credence to some of the story line. 

This one is going to be high on my purchase list when it hits DVD.
